Overview
The SCT X2R is a precision-engineered performance tuning module designed to optimize your vehicle's power delivery and efficiency. This guide covers the physical installation, app integration, and fine-tuning processes.
1. Scope of Delivery
Before beginning the installation, please verify that your package includes the following components:
A: SCT X2R Module: Calibrated specifically for your vehicle.
B: Wiring Harness: Automobile-grade and vehicle-compatible.
C: Fixing System Pro: Includes 360 degree fixing clips.
D: Cable Ties: 2 x long and 3 x short ties for cable management.
E: Deactivation Plug: Used to return the engine to stock tuning safely.
F: User Manual: Comprehensive installation and operation guide.
G: Engine Warranty: Information regarding your product warranty.
2. Device Overview: Digital User Interface
The SCT X2R features an onboard interface to monitor status and adjust settings on the fly.
A: Digital Display: Indicates the currently active mapping.
B: +/- Buttons: Used to manually cycle through performance mappings.
C: Power ON Light: Illuminates when the ignition is on and the device is powered.
D: Bluetooth Symbol: Lights up when connected to the Tuning Pro app.
E: Fixing Slots: Specialized slots for the 360 degree fixing clips.
F: FCI Plug: Primary connection port for the wiring harness.
3. Installation Instructions
Estimated Time: 25–30 minutes.
Step 1: Vehicle Preparation
Engine Temp: Ensure the engine is cool to the touch.
System Sleep: Open the bonnet, lock the vehicle, and wait 10 minutes (15 minutes if you manually closed the bonnet catch) to ensure the electrical system is fully powered down.
Key Placement: Keep keyless entry fobs at least 10 meters (33 feet) away from the car.
Step 2: Engine Cover Removal
Locate the clips (A) or screws (B) securing the engine cover.
Carefully remove the cover to access the sensors. If your vehicle has no cover, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Connecting the Sensors
Turbo Boost Pressure Sensor: Disconnect the stock plug and insert the SCT harness end marked "A".
Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor: Disconnect the stock plug and insert the SCT harness end marked "B".
Note: Always listen for a clear "CLICK" to confirm the weather-proof seal is locked.
4. App Integration (Tuning Pro)
Download the Tuning: Pro app from the App Store or Google Play.
Turn the vehicle ignition ON (engine off) and enable Bluetooth on your phone.
Select ADD PRODUCT in the app.
Enter the 13-digit serial number found on the back of your X2R or scan the QR code.
The Bluetooth PIN is the last 6 digits of your device serial number.
5. Fine-Tuning & Optimization
Mappings should only be adjusted when the ignition is ON but the engine is OFF.

| Refine Performance | If the engine idles roughly or "surges," move down the scale (e.g., 5 to 4) until smooth. |

| Fuel Economy | Maintain an economical driving style and select a higher mapping for better efficiency. |
6. Troubleshooting
No Power Light: Ensure the harness is fully clicked into both the sensors and the X2R module.
Engine Fault Light: Stop the car, keep the ignition on, set the mapping to 1, then turn off the ignition and lock the car for 30 minutes.
Jerky Shifting: Lower the mapping by one increment until shifts feel seamless.
