Chip Drivers for Eliminator Chips

If the Eliminator Chip drivers are not installed on your computer, you’ll see the following error when attempting to program a chip:












If that happens, check your Device Manager to see if the Eliminator Chip drivers are properly installed. If no drivers are present, you’ll see the following when the Burner is connected to the computer:

Clicking one of the following download links to install drivers needed for your operating system (you can find your OS type by going to “System Information” and checking next to “System Type”:

32 bit Chipper Drivers

64 bit Chipper Drivers

Copy and paste the contents of that link into your advantage install directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\SCT\Advantage III

x64

x86

Once the drivers are in the Advantage install directory, go back to device Manager and follow these steps:

  1. Right-click CHIPper
  2. Update Driver
  3. Browse my computer for drivers
  4. Copy and paste your Advantage install directory “C:\Program Files (x86)\SCT\Advantage III”
  5. Click Next

Your Eliminator Chip drivers should now be installed, you can confirm this in Device Manager:
