5.4L 3v with Edelbrock supercharger

I have a new (factory installed at Ford) 5.4L put in my 2010 F150 Lariat Crew Cab. I bought an Edelbrock supercharger (with a stock tube) and am having them install that with the engine. EVERYONE is telling me I need to get an SCT timer with a custom tune. Am I good with what I have? Do I need to get a custom tune? I old and don't really care about speed. I just want power and fuel efficiency. With I know won't be great with a truck. Especially one with a 6" lift and 35's on it.

Unfortunately yes you would need a custom tune as our preloaded tunes are made just for the stock engine without a super charger. If they gave you a tune with the supercharger you can use theirs or definitely can fine a custom tune dealer of ours to dial it in for you on one of our devices!
